Hibernation, Screening at Indie Day in Busan Cinema Center!

A story that brings to mind the things we’ve lost in the race of competition: Hibernation.

The animated film Hibernation, produced by Matchbox, will be presented to audiences at the January independent short film exhibition, Indie Day: ‘An Invitation to Daily Life’. ❄️

Hibernation explores the themes of lost leisure and rest amidst the fierce competition and meritocracy of modern society. The struggles and bittersweet moments of colleagues, Bear Woong and Raccoon Young, as they work through winter, resonate deeply with the challenges we face in our workplaces today. Experience this unique fable told through adorable characters on the big screen.

Directed by Kim Woo-seok, who beautifully crafted the flashback scene in Strongberry’s drama “Choco Milk Shake”, where Choco first meets Jung-woo, this film pairs its charming visuals with a profound message, leaving a melancholic yet deeply moving impression on its audience.
